What are the new capabilities introduced in BricsCAD® Lite V26?
BricsCAD® Lite V26 introduces several new capabilities aimed at accelerating the design-to-production process.
These new features include:
Look From widget: A navigation tool that allows for the easy selection of a desired position on a cube to dynamically reposition a preset view.
Drawing units: The ability to change drawing units and related settings, such as insertion scale and precision, directly through the command line.
Drawing Explorer block search: This feature helps to quickly find and manage blocks within large drawings, making it easier to see which blocks are used and reused.
Blockify: The Blockify command can be run from the Create Block Definition dialog, allowing for the creation of new block definitions and checking for existing blocks that can be reused.
Geographic Location: Users can set or update the geographic location of a drawing via the command line or in an unattended script.
2D Geometric constraint symbol grouping: This allows for the grouping of symbols to improve performance and clarity in complex drawings.
Reverse vertices of selected geometry: A function to reverse the direction of lines, polylines, splines, and helixes, which is useful for text where direction is important.
Command preview visibility: Users can now enable or disable the preview for TRIM and EXTEND commands.
Streamlined workspace selection: A new launcher makes it easier to find the required workspace and start quickly.
Faster geometry selection with Quick Select: The QSELECT command has added functionality, allowing for the selection of multiple entities when a filter is being defined.
Advanced settings for geographic location: The Geographic Location dialog box has been updated with a simplified user experience.
Customizable interface: An intuitive process for configuring and personalizing BricsCAD through the Settings dialog box.
